About Sathyamargam

Satya Margam Services Society  is a service oriented voluntary organization started with the objective of helping the destitute old people, mentally retarded people, children, and women in rural areas. It was officially registered with Office of the Registrar of Society Khammam – Telanagana – registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act 35 of 2001.

Satya Margam has been creating a difference in the lives of downtrodden and less fortunate people over last 15 years. We work together with our community and other organizations to raise funds and donate them to helpless, needy, poverty stricken people, old age homes, orphanages etc. We collect food and clothes and distribute them amongst different orphanages and families that are living with poverty within Khammam district surround areas.

Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Hon’ble Vice-President ofr India and Former Governor of West Bengal Honoured Sathyamargam NGO Khammam ( Saride Srilakshmi) with National Award. The Award presentation ceremony was held on 6th December ( Friday ) 2019. Sister Margaret Foundation has introduced a National Level Award namely “ Swami Vivekananda & Sister Margaret Award ” since 2016 for honouring some individuals and organizations on their extraordinary and exemplary contribution for the Indian Society.

Our Focus Areas

President

Dr. Saride Srilakshmi is the prominent social worker who has been striving very hard to uplift the lives of women of weaker sections. She is the President of Sathyamargam Youth Services Society. Ever since inception of Satya Margam Services Society, she has started various initiatives to uplift the lives of economically backward women in and around Khammam Districts. She has initiated many women empowerment programs.

Dr. Saride Srilakshmi initiated all services with the objective of helping the destitute old people, mentally retarded people, children, and especially women in rural areas. Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Hon’ble Vice-President ofr India and Former Governor of West Bengal Honoured Saride Srilakshmi with National Award in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Award presentation ceremony was held on 6th December ( Friday ) 2019. Sister Margaret Foundation has introduced a National  Award namely “ Swami Vivekananda & Sister Margaret Award ” for the exemplary service  contribution of Dr Saride Srilakshmi for the Indian Society.
